Designed for comfort and capability
This Pegasus home was carefully designed to meet the needs of a client with limited mobility — a high-performance build that prioritises accessibility, warmth, and style in equal measure.
The two-storey form presents a clean, modern silhouette to the street, with vertical cladding and large glazed openings that bring in light while maximising privacy. Inside, the design is grounded in practicality and flow: level thresholds, generous circulation, and carefully planned detailing allow ease of movement throughout.Clad in a refined mix of brick, vertical metal, and horizontal timber, the home’s exterior reads as a sculptural composition of texture and tone. The clean lines and layered materials give it presence from the street, while the design opens up to light and landscape within.
Every element has been refined for comfort and performance. The home’s uPVC joinery and advanced insulation system create a consistently warm and quiet interior, supported by efficient heating and natural solar gain. Polished flooring provides both beauty and durability, while the open-plan living area connects seamlessly to the outdoor terrace through full-height sliding doors.
A palette of rich materials — dark timber cabinetry, granite finishes, and warm ceilings — brings depth and elegance to the interiors. Upstairs, restful bedrooms enjoy elevated views across Pegasus and the mountains beyond, while the bathrooms combine luxury and accessibility with full wet-area functionality and sculptural fittings.
